I'm Back..............

I hope you will join us as very soon I will restore all the information on how to sew Lutterloh patterns. We will explore sewing directions and fitting issues.
I've been working with Lutterloh on making this blog helpful without hurting any copyright laws.

  3. Is there really a chance for a Vintage pattern issue? I would be in line to buy the 30s and 40s ones.

  4. Thank you for sharing your step by step tips! I have really messed up some patterns because I couldn't tell which line went to which number, so your instructions on that really helped me. I also have had problems when I have accidentally placed my dot on the wrong side of the measuring tape, and that makes every dot approximately 1/2 inch OFF! I get really frustrated when I do that, so anyone clarifying the steps really helps me do a better job in making my own clothing. I have 5 or 6 of the Lutterloh Pattern books from various decades, but I have only made a few patterns and clothes from them so far. My mom and I share our books with each other, and my mom makes ALL her own clothing, and has done so for the whole of her adult life. Finding the Lutterloh system really has made her wardrobe making much easier. By the way, if you are willing to share your mistakes too, then how to fix them, that would be helpful to klutzes like me! Also, that may help the Lutterloh family see where they can make improvements in the instructions with the newer books they make.

  5. Hi,
Sewed in high school because I was to small for womens (no 3s, 5s, or 7s then...)and to shapely for kids clothes. Amazed I NEVER heard of Lutterloh before. so, this is new for me too.

I just got my system on HSN but haven't made anything yet. Too busy this summer. Loved reading all your info in the blogs (not really a blogger myself, lol.) Hoping to learn more and thanks for starting this!! Great idea.
